This allows us to pull more animals from overcrowded shelters throughout the state, which is consistently ranked as one of the top three ones in the nation with the highest euthanasia rates of healthy, adoptable animals. Although we do our very best to match you to the dog you may be interested in, we cannot guarantee a successful adoption of that specific pet. This is why we ask you to list a couple of preferred pets, or simply note that you are open to many options. This helps us to do our best to match you to an available dog or puppy.
